Even the size of the diamonds worn in the engagement ring is giving rise to different styles and the solitaire is now competing with higher carat weights. The poor viewer who sees the million dollar celebrity engagement rings is thus dumbstruck and fascinated to a point of distraction by such products and is thus going to have to sweat and save in order to also get a piece of this action. The bottom line is that the value of an engagement ring really has nothing to do with imitating a celebrity engagement ring; rather, it has to do with love and sincere devotion and the sooner people realize this the better off they will be. That is not to say that there is something wrong with having an imitation celebrity engagement ring. Far from it. It is just that there should be a limit and a reason to why you should want such a ring for so important an occasion. |
